I have been doing “other things” since the trip to Spain (which is part of the reason I am so far behind). I managed to finish this page and thought I’d toss it up here, just to shake things up a bit. There are a lot of pictures, which are nicer than the story, so feel free to just scroll your way through!
I am way behind in posting this, but last month Dan and I went to Graubünden, a canton on the other side of the country, to see some snow and mountains. Not that we had to cross the country to see snow and mountains. But we were here for a race!
Slowly I am catching up on my postings! Two weeks ago Dan and I took a hike in the Alps in probably the best weather possible. Fantastic views and colors blessed us for the entire day. Come along for the hike – without even raising your pulse 🙂
Ever on our quest to hike as much as possible, Dan and I took a trip to the mountains to explore one of Switzerland’s more popular Alpine hikes.
Dan promised that there wouldn’t be rain until 4 o’clock. Dan was wrong. Follow along anyway and enjoy the sights and sounds of Swiss cows!
“A short hike” turns into five hours as Dan and I meander through some beautiful landscape in the Jura Mountains.
I made it to the falls!!! Without motorcycles with but our feet, Dan and I took the train to Schaffhausen to explore the area around the falls and follow the river downstream for a while. We had fantastic weather and the water was flowing fast and high!
A month ago, Dan and I rode up to the WW I Memorial at Hartmannswillerkopf to explore the area on foot. It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy.
Dan and I finally got out of the apartment to explore more Swiss wilderness. We chose a perfect day to get lost.
Dan and I take a couple of friends into the Alps for some scenic hiking.
