At long last: I have finally put together the trip that Dan and I took to Innsbruck over the Easter holiday.
A long day ride through some of Switzerland’s more well-known passes. The weather was fantastic!
A half-day ride through the Jura to find some cheese – and some fall colors, too!
A weekend get-away! With Dan! And a motorcycle! In the mountains!
You know that you want to know more, so go ahead:
Ha! Just when you thought that I was going to post up something more about my trip to Croatia, etc, and I slip in a little local riding. The colors were still holding and it was a beautiful couple of days to get out and enjoy it.
For the first time since we’ve moved to Europe, we finally took a two-week motorcycle trip! I have been looking forward to this for years and now I can say “Done – until the next one!”. I am still working on the write-up, but I have the first part of it completed.
A long weekend in the Swiss and Italian Alps. Lots of photos!
A few months ago Dan and I rode to Verdun, France to see one of World War I’s famous battle sites. Join us as we ride through the French countryside and explore the towns and museums along the way.
My early season birthday ride into the mountains to have lunch with my wonderful Dan. We had great weather and clear roads – hard to ask for more!
Now that I have finished the post for Bangkok/Bhutan, I can focus on a couple of things I’ve done since my return to Switzerland. Below is a day ride to the Walensee area, the mountains just southeast of Zürich – and really close to Lichtenstein.
