January Ride South
The sun was out and it was 14C – there was no reason not to get out on the motorcycle and explore some more through the Jura mountains and points south.
New Years in Heidelberg
Dan and I took the train to Heidelberg for a couple of days. The weather was horrible but the company of our friends more than made up for it. Also, I’ll never leave “the good camera” home again!
A Short Winter Ride in the Vosges
It was a chilly but beautiful day for a ride. We kept it short because our toes didn’t keep as warm as we had expected. Still, it was great to get out and enjoy some sunshine!
BMW Off Road Training
We finally did it! We signed up for and completed a two day “off road enduro” training. Not everything went as planned, but I still deem it a success!
October view of the Alps
A day ride to tag the Alps and see some new roads. Photo heavy – you’ve been warned!
Alsace at Harvest Time
I’m a little out of order in my postings, but I got side tracked by wanting to posts the photos from the Eiger hike right away. And now, still in time for autumn festivals, is a wine tasting trip through the Alsace.
Brisach – or Breisach?
Dan and I took advantage of some late-fall weather and rode our bikes through a bit of France and Germany.
Hiking the Eiger
Dan and I take a couple of friends into the Alps for some scenic hiking.
St Ursanne – rallyus interruptus
Dan and I had our short day ride cut even shorter when our route was cutoff by a hill climb rally. It was a great day for a ride and we enjoyed the time that we had.
