Two new Swiss passes!
I finally got the chance to experience Klausenpass, and as a bonus, discovered the existence of Pragelpass.
HU Meeting in Switzerland
Horizons Unlimited hosted their second camping event in Switzerland and this time I was there.
Riding through the Jura in the Fall
Ha! Just when you thought that I was going to post up something more about my trip to Croatia, etc, and I slip in a little local riding. The colors were still holding and it was a beautiful couple of days to get out and enjoy it.
Biking the Balkans!
For the first time since we’ve moved to Europe, we finally took a two-week motorcycle trip! I have been looking forward to this for years and now I can say “Done – until the next one!”. I am still working on the write-up, but I have the first part of it completed.
Motorcycling in the mountains
A long weekend in the Swiss and Italian Alps. Lots of photos!
Battle of Verdun – a motorcycle journey
A few months ago Dan and I rode to Verdun, France to see one of World War I’s famous battle sites. Join us as we ride through the French countryside and explore the towns and museums along the way.
A Ride to Adelboden
My early season birthday ride into the mountains to have lunch with my wonderful Dan. We had great weather and clear roads – hard to ask for more!
Walensee in the Autumn
Now that I have finished the post for Bangkok/Bhutan, I can focus on a couple of things I’ve done since my return to Switzerland. Below is a day ride to the Walensee area, the mountains just southeast of Zürich – and really close to Lichtenstein.
A full day’s ride in Switzerland
WARNING: Photo heavy!
I decided to reward myself with a full day’s ride on fun Swiss roads. The previous two weekends had been eaten by trips on high speed and boring motorways so I decided that today would be MY day. And what a day it was! I saw and did so much – it more than made up for the last few rides I’ve taken. There are a lot of photos, so prepare your internet for the onslaught!
