It was too early in the season but we were eager to get out of the house for a two-day trip.

Neuchatel for Lunch
Dan and I bought new helmets (review to come!) and wanted to give them a real-life test. So we gave the GPS a destination and then chose “Curvy Roads”. This is great because you never know exactly where it’ll take you along the way.
January Ride South
The sun was out and it was 14C – there was no reason not to get out on the motorcycle and explore some more through the Jura mountains and points south.
A Short Winter Ride in the Vosges
It was a chilly but beautiful day for a ride. We kept it short because our toes didn’t keep as warm as we had expected. Still, it was great to get out and enjoy some sunshine!
October view of the Alps
A day ride to tag the Alps and see some new roads. Photo heavy – you’ve been warned!
Brisach – or Breisach?
Dan and I took advantage of some late-fall weather and rode our bikes through a bit of France and Germany.
St Ursanne – rallyus interruptus
Dan and I had our short day ride cut even shorter when our route was cutoff by a hill climb rally. It was a great day for a ride and we enjoyed the time that we had.
München
Dan and I ride the motorcycles to München for the long weekend (Swiss National Day). We had great weather and the city of München is very interesting. The BMW Museum is included!
A Day in the Past
Dan and I finally got out on the motorcycles and managed to see an interesting museum! We went to the Swiss Open Air Museum in Ballenberg, Switzerland. It was a fascinating place and I really enjoyed the entire day.
There is a link within that page to the museum page, in case you just want to look at sexy motorcycles all day.
A quick ride to… Calais?
Dan and I started our two-week motorcycle holiday. Not everything went as planned and we had to make some alternative arrangements. But like my Dad always said “You have to be flexible!”
