Dan and take a week off to visit the lavender fields of Provence – and lots of French Alps on the way there and back. I can honestly say that this ride was more about the journey than the destination.

Battle of Verdun – a motorcycle journey

Hiking around a WWI memorial site
A month ago, Dan and I rode up to the WW I Memorial at Hartmannswillerkopf to explore the area on foot. It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy.
Autumn Wonderland – The Vosges
A delightful romp through the Alsace region of France to enjoy the fall colors. I took a lot of photos because I just couldn’t get over how beautiful it looked.

I volunteered to run an errand into France and explored a castle ruin on the way home.

When the weather is perfect the only thing to do is to get out and enjoy it! I did just that with a 5 1/2 hour motorcycle ride through the Jura region.
