Dan and I took advantage of a long weekend by getting out of town – and out of the country. We rode the motorcycles to northern Italy to explore what this corner of the country had to offer.

Easter in the Pyrenees
Follow along as Dan, my nephew Matt and I spend five days getting to and enjoying the Pyrenees along the Mediterranean coast. Bonus: Lunch in Spain!
Scrambling to Zurich
I helped out a new rider move his new bike from Geneva to Zurich. It was a long ride in the cold wind, but it was fun to help out a fellow motorcyclist.
Winter Weekend Ride
To Germany!!! Dan and I brave the cold and wet to visit my nephew in Germany.
If you like photos of cold, wet and grey scenes, check out this story!
Long Way to Seon
No, not the nice southern Swiss town of Sion, where they grow fantastic grapes for nice red wine. But the closer, smaller and colder Seon, which is just an hour or so from Basel. Join me on my mid-winter’s ride to this small town.
Payerne and the mountains
Just a quick ride on one of the shortest days of the year.
Autumn Wonderland – The Vosges
A delightful romp through the Alsace region of France to enjoy the fall colors. I took a lot of photos because I just couldn’t get over how beautiful it looked.
Whoops! Where did Mexico go?
I feel so silly!! I have no idea where the second half of my 2004/05 Mexico trip went, or how long it has been gone, but it disappeared somehow. I did a little re-working and it is back!
Since I don’t know how long it has been AWOL, I have no idea who may have missed it. If you DID notice that it wasn’t there, then next time please let me know!!
And now, if you’ve been looking for my ride home from Oaxaca, here it is!
And if you missed the story entirely, here is Part 1
Lake Como, anyone?
Dan and I take three days to visit Lake Como. It was fantastic fall weather and an amazing trip. Lake Como never ceases to amaze me with its beauty.
